With a passion for homes that started when he was a young child, Paul has turned his lifelong interest into a career spanning 20 years of experience in the land development, home building and real-estate finance industries. Quickly earning his way into a number of senior executive positions at leading land development and home building companies, Paul has helped shape dozens of communities within the Waterloo Region and across the province. His experience leading large teams has provided an invaluable experience in understanding the various facets of what makes successful projects, and his ability to fluently understand these components allows him to lead his current team in an efficient and effective manner. Rooted in a lifelong interest in creative design and a desire for quality, Paul is selective in the projects he undertakes, only selecting those which will allow for a creative outcome that is rich in visual appeal, practical in use, and durable in construction that will last the test of time.

With a practical, on-the-ground operating approach to accounting, her expanse of business understanding goes well beyond financial statements and deep into the inner workings of all aspects of business.

Aimee started her career in the real estate finance industry, working in the commercial loans division of a private mortgage capital company in the heart of Toronto’s financial district. After a brief departure into a controller role within the manufacturing industry, Aimee returned to the real estate industry to lead a large land development company’s accounting department. With over a decade of experience in this capacity dealing with dozens of complex projects spanning many years, along with several current part-time consulting accounting roles in controller-type positions, Aimee has earned a base of knowledge that well positions her for the future.

Aimee is known for her tenacity and memory for numbers and appreciates well organized and systematic processes that allow businesses to operate efficiently.

As Manager Project Development Jason is responsible for following through on the vision Urban Legend sets for its projects by acting as central command for the design and technical teams of each undertaking.

More than anything, Jason shares in the company’s commitment to quality developments through better design and execution. In addition to his function as project manager through the design and construction phases of a project, Jason has the opportunity to shape the vision for each project by assisting in new land acquisition opportunities.

As a Professional Planner, his technical background and personal beliefs are rooted in a desire for better designed and functioning communities. As our homes become more compact, the fusion of land use and building becomes more interdependent, and this is what both challenges and excites Jason with each new venture the company undertakes.

Jennifer's in-depth understanding of the needs of developer, government and community allow her to help shape the company’s projects in a way that meets the needs of the company, is collaboratively carried through the approval process, and is sensitive to the context of the surrounding communities in which we build.

She is tenacious in all that she undertakes. With in-depth practical experience in almost all areas of development planning and approvals, Jennifer is able to quickly assess the planning risks of new opportunities and carry projects through the many approval processes necessary to meet timelines as a skilled negotiator.

Jennifer started her career as a planner working in the consulting industry before moving into several senior planning roles within multiple municipalities in Ontario and New Brunswick. Since then and throughout the past decade, Jennifer has held senior planning positions at large well-known land development and home building companies, undertaking to obtain approvals for large, high-profile and complex subdivision and condominium projects.

Throughout her career in the trade, general contracting, service, and project management industries, Elaine has held various positions that exposed her to the vast expanse of products available to the building industry, along with a first-hand account of industry leading installation best practices (and not-so-good practices). This experience is invaluable to Urban Legend’s homeowners and the company, as it contributes to delivering on the company’s vision for quality, progressiveness, and design.

Elaine has established herself as a trove of wisdom to the team. Her willingness to share her project management experience and new home warranty knowledge demonstrate the interconnectedness and interdependency of the team environment at Urban Legend.

Elaine thrives off of starting new projects and seeing them through to completion. She loves watching the process unfold and seeing her contribution to a project reflected in the faces of the people moving in!

In her spare time, she still works for the family business as she truly loves this industry (and spending time with her family). She also enjoys going to builder trade shows to source out new and innovative products to use in upcoming projects.

Having worked for a large national retailer for 17 years, Travis understands that most people appreciate someone genuinely listening and trying to help them with questions and concerns. Regardless of the issue, knowing that someone is willing to work with you goes a long way to building a lasting relationship.

In addition, Travis' interests lie in the changing world of technology and how it can positively change our lives. He is keen to use new technologies to better support our homeowners, provide them the information they need quickly and efficiently, and streamline our business processes.

Outside of work, Travis still enjoys helping people. He's involved in the community by coaching soccer and hockey as well as volunteering his time to support various charities.
